I did a search but didn't really find the answer I am looking for.
I bought my 2007 Dyna Super Glide used with the straight shot slip ons, stock intake with a k&n filter, vance & hines fuelpak and a set of xieds. I know the bikes run lean from the factory, but my question is since I have the stock intake with a k&n filter and the straight shot slip ons, do I need both the fuelpak and the xieds? Or do I just need 1 or the other? Any help/info would be appreciated. Thanks
Fuel pak and XIED's work well together and the K&N A/F will work fine with this combo. If you have your tuner set well, your pipes will be a medium gray color and the plugs should be a medium to light tan color.

Several years ago I had a conversation with Steve at Nightrider.com about the same subject. He said both products were compatible. I don't know if anything has changed since then but I think there's a few riders here that use them together with good results.
Thanks for the info so far. I was just a little concerned because on Vance & Hines website it says their maps are optimized for bikes with free flowing intakes and so I just wanted to make sure the bike wouldn't be running rich with both the fuelpak and xieds.
The XiED's richen up the Closed Loop part of the AFR (which is very lean from the factory) and the Fuel Pak richens up the Open Loop part of the AFR (which is not terribly lean, but does benefit from some tweaking).

been running both on a 2008 fxd for some time, took the xieds off to see if I would get better milage, and the there was very little difference but the bike wasn"t as smooth overall, so I put them back on, and left it alone,

Ok, I will just leave it like it is then. Thanks for the first hand experience
