Can anyone help?
Buddy purchased a 2004 SE Deuce Soft-tail with 4K on the bike. Bike is nice. And the previous owner changed the lens on the front and back marker lights to the gray smoked lenses. At least I think he did - were they orange from the factory?
Anyway, the bike rear and front marker lights ONLY light up when the bikes turn signals are activated. They are out when the bike is running and he's headed down the road.
Is this normal? My 2006 UCEG has the marker lights on all the time in the front and back. I changed mine from factory orange lenses to the gray smoked lens with new colored bulbs and MINE are on when the bike is running and flash when I signal a turn.
Any help info on what is right or wrong? Wondering if SOME bikes markers that only work when signaling turns.

Yep, I'd guess bulbs before anything. I'd just swap one from your bike to his to see if they work. Maybe the previous owner didn't like the running lights? Or the running filament can burn out. I replaced one bulb recently because the running light burned out and it only lit up when I hit the turn signal.
