Little help please guys.....Was brought to my attention this evening (by a law enforcement officer) that I have no rear running lights on my 07 Road Glide....Brakes & signals work fine, what should I be looking for....Any suggestions would be appreciated......Joe
If you're looking for the turn signal lights to be functioning as running lights, they don't come that way from the factory. They are a single filament (1156) bulb. The fronts works as running lights/turn signals. The rears are signals only.
I just posted this issue I was having on my ultra. I changed a burnt fuse, put the new one in and all my running lights came on. Started it up and off they went again. Off to the shop to run down a short. Forum members started me with the fuse. My brakes and turn signals are on a different fuse than the running lights.
Changed out the brake bulb to no avail.....checked the fuse box & bingo, needed to change out a 15amp...all is good for now, will see soon enough if it was a bad fuse or short in the line.....Thanks again guys......Joe

depends on year/model. for example, the last couple years, the street glides come from factory with just the two lights that flank the license plate - they are running/brake/turn.
To the OP - change out the bulbs first. always start with the simplest/cheapest.

I'm not the OP, but that advice only works for other folks. In my case it is NEVER the simplest or cheapest, I may as well go directly to the obscure and expensive solution.
