What does the roller chain look like compaired to the standard chain? Any pictures would be nice. I'm thinking that the chain links are flat not shaped like a bone . More like these two at jp cycles part #711-644 for primary and # 711-642 for secondary that look like roller chains to me.
It looks like I got my thinking backwards after reading the first page in the article. I was thinking the old style was the newer roller chains. Now I'm more confused about this. And what are these NEW chains that JP cycles are selling ?

I don't see anything new about them. They are just replacements for the original style Hyvo chain. Maybe just a new P/N for them?
I didn't like the S/E kit. It only changes one of the chains, so basically only fixed half of the problem.
I opted to go with the 96" conversion set-up. I think you'll find that Andrews doesn't sell their kit any longer. Word was that HD took action to prevent them from selling it. I know no one was selling it when I wanted to use it this spring. It's not a problem though as Andrews used all HD parts in their kit. The parts are all listed in their assembly instructions, so just buy from HD...I used an on-line dealer that gave 20% off on all parts. See below for instructions and parts lists.
