I am seriously thinking about a second job or a massive liquidation of everything that is sucking money,I have accumilated a few old cars and would like to sell a couple but I still think I can maintain them cheaper then the bike.

Paid I think 7 bucks for a filter from Autozone and there are oil sales all the time for basic motor oil. Harley's are basically 1/4 of a V 8 car.
Do your homework and don't get ripped off.
Get out and ride and enjoy the reason you ride in the first place. If you think you can get the feeling from four wheels then sell the bike.
If you can't afford the cost of maintaining something you should park it or sell it or do something about it.
If you find you enjoy the ride then you will damn well happily find a way to pay a few bucks to maintain it.
If money is tight, sell some stuff, work OT, get a a second job, whatever...
i know where your coming from with all of this. i'm still recovering from a bike accident last sept. and i have all kinds of things rolling around inside my head about riding. my only choice in going to be a trike.
I am beginning to like the idea of auctioning everything and starting life over in a warmer climate or then buying a travel trailer made to haul a motorcycle with a touring and a almost new truck and that would be all I own, just live in campgrounds for the rest of my life without the major expenses of owning a house. Could pick up and move when ever I wanted.
