Well it got into the mid 30's today so I decided to try my new Black Friday special Bell Custom 500 helmet. As some have mentioned it seems to set a little high. I'm almost wondering if it seems that way because the sides are more tapered than on my Harley(HJC) 3/4 helmet. I did install a small 3 snap bubble style visor. I rode for about 20 miles with most of that being 60 to 70 mph. I found the helmet to be comfortable and the strap works well taking it on and off which I did a few times. I did wear a new black hood style face mask which is very thin and didn't seem to have any negative effects on fit. For a reference in case it would help someone I have a 23 inch head and ordered a size large helmet. I think I will like this helmet and it feels very light weight which I liked. If you scroll down to a lower post I have added a couple of pictures so you can see what the helmet looks like on a person. The helmet shown is a size large.

Looks pretty low to me. A lot better than the HJC's Helmets we had before, those where really mushroom head lids.
Got the wife and I the custom 500's last summer (12) and we really like them.. Got the R/B/S custom paint by Skratch at the close out price of $60 per.
My head is 23 1/4 and I got a LG, Wife got a small and they both fit us very good.
The LG shell is a little bigger than the SM shell but not all that much.
