Hey all, Looking to trade a vehicle and in doing some research I checked Kelly blue book and NADA values. There was a significant difference between the two and I am wondering why that might be ----- any thoughts??? Paul
out in the northeast i know that Galves is very popular with car dealerships. They do list motorcycles but not sure if dealers use their motorcycle listings

Why are they different? Sounds like a good question for KBB and NADA to answer.
Just use the one that benefits you more when negotiating.
The last three vehicles I got rid of for something else, I sold myself. I just bought a new truck and they wanted to give me 24k for my old truck. I just sold it myself for 31k. I don't trade in anymore. I know they have to make a living but not a 7k living off of me. I used KBB and NADA and Autotrader to get my price. Just my 2 cents.

I agree, I have traded in one vehicle back in the day. Since then I always sell it myself.
