I like to park my bike on the side walk at home. So when then kids walk by they go "Whoooa" and the adults start crying "why is that motorcycle on the side walk, this for people to walk on not a parking spot."
In California, the parking spots are so small that my buddy and I can barely park a Duc and a Goose side-by-side in one without crowding the car doors on both sides. Staggering the baggers helps, but if it was one of the PC Compact spots that's not going to work, either.
Alternative parking gets alot more appealing here.
I'm curious. Where do you leave the placard on the bike .
Maybe it's different in Nova Scotia, but in California we have a plastic tag to hang on the mirror. That's fine in a car. But on the bike it's out there for anyone to take.
In Texas I have Disabled Veteran license plates which can park in any handicap spot, but I usually don't take up the spot unless the lot is packed to the back. People look at me weird- being 27, on a Harley, parking Handicap.
I manage several shopping centers in the Denver area and the only area that I see Motorcyclists parking on the sidewalk is in front of 24 Hr Fitness.
Really - you're going there for a work out but can't mustard the energy to walk to the front door from the parking lot!!
I gave a few a good workout as I had their scoots towed - so they got an additional workout when they had to walk home. Never understood those that thought it was okay to park a motorcycle on a sidewalk.
What a dick!!!
Ever had a brick thrown through your window?
Fellow rider, my ***..
Folks park their rides on the sidewalks to keep idiots from messing w/it.
Did that thought ever cross your mind?
Do you get that? Apparently not..
I walked out the bar one night and fell over two crotch rockets parked on the sidewalk.. knocked em both over. A friend of mine helped me to my truck and I told him... dam good thing they weren't parked in front of my truck, I might not have even seen em.

Who gave these fellow riders permission to park on a side walk - if parking was legal on sidewalks, what's keeping cagers from parking there -
