Check out "Second Face On". It's a full face you can wear with your skid lid.
I love mine when bad weather happens.

I always liked the way Arai helmets fit but were on the noisy side for a full face. I can't say enough about Shark though, if I ever went back to a full face it would be Shark. The venting system allows a crazy amount of airflow and the face shields are about twice the thickness of competing ones for piece of mind. Also their method of switching face shields is extremely easy.

After using my H-D 1/2 hardly at all, and liking my AGC 3/4...I want a little more protection and comfort. After seeing yours and many other posts bought the Shark helmet. Hard to part with $425. but my head is worth it.

Fantastic helmet. I love my shark evoline 2 modular. The best part is you can ride freeway speeds with the helmet 'up' unlike other modulars on warm days

Shoei now has the Qwest model as their sport touring helmet that is designed for upright riding positions. It is considerably cheaper than their racing models, $330 on sale. I have an X-11 and an R1100 from my sport bike days and still wear them regularly on my Fat Bob. I love Shoei's fit and finish.

I bought the Harley helmet M1V full face when I traded for my sig bike. I didn`t want to ruin the look of my bike with a windshield, so that`s why I bought the FF. I still have my Harley 3/4 face with the gradient face shield, but it allows a lot of wind noise at highway speeds. My new helmet does not, and has two face shields, the tinted one slides over the clear one and then flips back out of the way for night vision with the push of a button. I can pull the clear shield away from the open part of the helmet a small amount to prevent fogging when waiting at a traffic light, then snap it back flush after I get moving. This helmet has vents which are supposed to keep the head cool in summertime, yet my head doesn`t get cold during winter riding. So far, I like all of the features of this well thought out design. I have yet to see how this will work out for summer.
