I have a Shoei RF-110 that I like a lot. I am very interested in trying out the Bell Bullit helmet when it hits the stores. It's not a cheap helmet, but I like the clean lines. I won't buy it, because my RF-1100 is still in perfect condition. I just want to see the Bullit in person to see if will fit me.
Bell RS-1 in matte black with a photochromatic shield. Great helmet, fits well, performs well, and looks good. Easily rivals the much more expensive Bell Star.
I have both and the star has allot less wind noise and comfort.I bought both on Dennis Kirk for a great price.

Reason: fixed quote
If you are looking for a bad *** look, nothing beats the Bitwell Gringo IMO.
Certainly not much comfortable, as screen is attached with buttons, and if you do not have it, you need to wear glasses, which need to be worn once the helmet is in, and removed before pulling it off.
Fit is more important than anything. Shoei has always fit me best, and they are the best quality in my book. http://www.shoei-helmets.com/ I can vouch for their ability to take an impact, from first hand experience. The last bike I totaled when I hit the back of a conversion van. I flew off the bike and hit the back of the van head first and bounced off the van across 2 lanes of traffic. My bike was pushed under the back of the van. I got up in the middle of the 4 lane road and ran back to the sidewalk. The ambulance pulled up and the medic kept examining me over and over again and was completely baffled that I was injury free.
I wonder if I would have survived that with a skull cap, or half helmet.
