I have a 3/4 helmet with a face shield for my Harley. It's great on the highway (with no windscreen) and also around town. Full faces, although they provide the added security, are a bit overkill on my Harley. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/390719290248

Don't really understand why a FF is overkill on a Harley. It goes plenty fast to break your head and face on something.
What about the Shark Raw Helmet that's sort of on the idea of the Bell Rogue but looks a lot better? I was thinking of getting the Arai Defiant but at $600 I got the new re-designed Bell Custom 500 in matte orange flake. No more mushroom head and the color is awesome.
The eternal search for the perfect full face continues. Of course I prefer my skid lid, but for long rides and commuting on the L.I.E. A full face does the trick.
My HJC in matte black works well but The Simpson Street Bandit and the Biltwell Gringo may be my next choice of Helmet.
Any other suggestions?
The Gringo looks just like the helmet on the Evel Knievel stunt cycle action figure I had when I was a little kid - I'd like to get one of those and paint it like Evel's helmet.
