2001 ultra Classic-want to change out the headlight for an HID and the spots to 5o watts. Any advise?

i dont think bumping the wattage on the spots is going to do much, particularly in combination with upgrading the heads to HID. i'd look into led's or just leave them be.

I replaced my Fog/Driving lamps with Sylvania P/N 886, 50 Watt Bulbs.

That was two years and 8K Miles ago.

While not dramatic, it definitely resulted in a nice, and noticeable increase in illumination; for the $8.69 I spent on each bulb.
