anyone on here use a pikepass on your touring Harley?? Was wondering where you keep it and if it always works. I rarely use the turnpike, but when I do a pikepass would be much easier than having to stop and dig out the money. any suggestions appreciated.

I use one. Interestingly enough, it`s still the old style body with the two suction cups on it; not like the ones for cages which stick onto the inside of the windshield. When I asked why they do it that way the answer was that that style doesn`t work for motorcycles. Go figure. If you stick it onto the windshield you have to check it often to make sure it doesn`t lose its grip. Right now I just keep it in my zipped jacket pocket, and I don`t have to worry about losing it.
The Pikepass office told me to keep mine in the saddlebag and I would be good. Every time I use the turnpike I get a ticket in the mail and have to call their office and straighten it out. I have also tried the windshield pouch with no luck.
I hate the damn things!
I've got one they refer to as the "mobile" model. I keep it in a small mesh bag wrapped around my risers. Not really noticeable behind the windshield, and has never failed...

That's what they told me and so far it works in both the saddlebag and the windshield pouch.
I have a Florida SunPass, which is the same thing. I have an account online that allows me to keep updated info on the types of vehicles, and their license plate numbers, that I might use the SunPass with. This way, if for some reason it doesn't register when I go through a toll, and the camera takes a picture of my plate, they will just charge my account, which is linked to a credit card. Happens all the time. I don't even take the SunPass with me half the time because I know they will simply charge my account. Can you do the same over there?
Oklahoma issues the old style for bikes. I have mine velcroed to the underside of my saddlebag lid. Works fine as long as the wife isn't riding. Her leg blocks it. But no big deal. They read the tag number and since it's registered with them, never had a problem about it.
Mine works just fine in the windshield pouch on the dresser and front tool pouch on the FXR. The only times I use the turnpike is when I'm running way late to make it to a PGR mission in the Tulsa area or if the escort is using that route. Hate 4-lanes of any kind on the bikes.

No problems getting scanned with the PikePass in my saddlebags; make sure it is oriented correctly.
I have an old style for the bike and two new styles for the cars, don't use either very often. I seem to remember hearing that they are now honored on Texas toll roads?
