Always have had good results using Honda grip glue. A little goes a long way.

This came up a couple months ago, i noticed cause I needed to put grips on. I used hairspray (extra hold aqua net) and it works great. Obviously don't glue the throttle side..

I cant believe no one has said scott grip stick or pro tapper grip glue ive used both pro taper works well on MC scott works on everything from watercraft to Harleys and god cant pull them off and yes you have to glue the throttle side if your using a throttle tube its better to glue it off the bars let it dry you could glue the tube to the bars

Thumbs up Try Plastidip!

Had the same problem with soft grips. Having tried just about every kind of adhesive over the years, in desperation I used a can of Plastidip I had for another project. That stuff really worked good. The grip seems to have stiffened up a little but I'll have to cut the grips off to change them. I'm quite happy!

I bought the grip lock glue from J&P cycles, so far so good. Lots of the stuff in the tube, I imagine I'll have enough to last for numerous grip changes.

I have ISO grips. I had the left one pop off on me while I was riding.
Didn't have any glue, so I put a couple of wraps of electrical tape on the bar end and jammed the grip back on.
That was two years ago, and it's still on there solid. I can still remove it if I pull and twist really hard without damaging the grip, but it would never come off by accident.
Works better that glue in my opinion.
