Default 3/4 Open Face Helmet HELP!

Well, after what I thought was much "good" research, I settled on a Torc T50 flat black open face 3/4 helmet.

Well it arrived today in mail and I tried it on..I pretty much looked like Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. This thing was a globe on my head. I'm 6'4'' 250 with a decent size (but not huge) noggin' so anything somewhat large I think would look ok on me because of my size. BUT NOT THIS HELMET.

I'm struggling to find a helmet I like. I really like the vintage vibe of the open face helmets..Anyone have a similar experience or any suggestions?? I have had dirt bikes, snowmobiles, Can-Am and finally got rid of it all and bought a Harley and love it ! I just can't seem to find a good looking riding helmet. I realize this is very subjective, but any feedback is helpful.

Thanks for your help.

I personally have the biltwell bonanza and love it it's a bit bobbled head but very comfy I've been looking at the new 2014 bell custom 500 it's a little more low profile then the last model of the 500

I use a daytona 3/4 it's one of the "slimmest" i've seen.

They all look like crap imo just learn not to care......

I have a 3/4 helmet, too. Get used to looking like Neil Armstrong.

I've got a HJC CL-33 with a face shield. And I might look like an astronaut but I don't have to look at me. Everyone else does.

That Torc T50 seems like its pretty low-pro from the images I've seen....I don't know what other "vintage" type helmets might look any better, except maybe the Bell 500, but I doubt there is much difference.
jmacsyodaddy, its more likely your perception of the bucket on your head.....like I said before; most helmets aren't noticed by "others" they just blend into the rider and bike.

For 3/4 helmets, I have a Licks, a Fulmer and a Biltwell Nov. On my melon the Fulmer is best, though the Licks NovDot is probably a size too small so it looks like a Q-tip (not the helmet's fault). The Biltwell has the least Q-tip effect but of course not DOT. Too bad it gives me a headache because it's tight on my forehead. The Fulmer is a bit tight on the sides but I like that as it keeps noise out. IMV either the Licks or Fulmer are good choices IF you want DOT, but I would probably recommend Fulmer slightly. Of course all this is dependent on the shape of your head. What may work for one person may not work for you if your head is a different shape.

I have a Fulmer also and it is the best one so far, same issue with a bit tight on the side but I got used to that pretty quick. But I ended up going back to my pos old Frenchi half shell cuz the 3/4 just doesn't hold my glasses tight enough to my head. I hate my vision vibrating like a da sander.

I have a licks nov dot and a bell custom 500. The licks is lower profile, but they're both comfortable. I like the licks the best. No problems on the highway with no windshield. My bell has always had a bubble shield on it so I'm not to sure about that one.
