Nice day for a ride!

Got up to 63 here today so I was out riding. It was a bit windy but otherwise was nice. I put on 75 miles. Had lunch at one of my fav places in Deposit, NY (Koo Koose Grill) and then rode to see the spot where my childhood hometown used to be. Nice to have a bright sunny day for a change! Yes, that is ice on the water still.

Hogie you live in a beautiful part of the world. Great riding (when it's warm enough). I am on the opprosite end of the spectrum today. Had meetings in New Haven, CT this morning then drove on I-95 to Marlboro, NJ where I am now. It hurts to be working when the sun is shiny and warm after such a dismal winter.

Yes, it was nice. Not ideal, but nicer than it has been for a while. The wind was bad today with some high gusts. Today was the third ride of the season for me. I am hoping it will be nice enuff to ride Saturday. It is supposed to hit 72 and feel "summerlike" on Monday. I am tired of cold and snow! Today, the last of the snow is almost gone! And my driveway is finally drying so now it is going to rain and keep the mud going.....fun trying to get out of my place with the muddy driveway. Ah, the rites of spring.....
