I have read lots of threads about seats, etc. and it's not my intent to make anyone repeat anything they have already said, but I have a specific question about replacing the stock seat on my Sportster. I need to replace the seat soon because my butt hurts.... I dont know the pros and cons on solo vs 2 up seats. I do not intend to have anyone riding with me. But I need somewhere to put my stuff. I don't want saddle bags right now. I like the look without. But I think I need a sissy bar to strap a bags to. (?) So explain how I can do a comfortable seat and still have options to carry my stuff. Pics would help too. If you want to share your cargo solutions, please do. Researching options on the internet is only giving me a headache.
There is a lot of options but I would consider a 2 piece Mustang seat with the wide solo then you could add the rear pad and q/d sissy bar with luggage rack when needed.
Baka1969 could probably chime in on a comfortable seat set-up travel ready for a sporty.
