On Tuesday I had the rare opportunity to drive on the 91 fwy for about five miles by myself. The Highway Patrol had stopped all traffic from the 57 to the 5 for set up of a road crew and a motorcycle cop escorted two crotch rockets and myself past the road block. The mc police officer takes the first off ramp leaving us with five lanes of heaven. I had the throttle wide open and after hitting 105 pretty fast it took another mile or so to top out about 112/114 mph. While I thought it would've gone a little faster I was pleased by the lack of speed wobble. Of course the crotch rockets blew by me right away. After reaching the 5 fwy reality set in and I was back to splitting lanes but I still had a grin when I pulled in to work.

Fastest was 138 mph on my 1979 KZ1000st. I let off when the fairing was lifting the front end up. Since I haven't gone over 105, most of the time not over 85. I'm happy just cruising at 75 though.
My 76 KZ-900 with a WindJammer III on it would lift the fronttire clear off the ground at 115. I personally prefer both tires on the ground at that speed.

I had my 1994 cb1000 going 115 mph for a short time, fastest in a car was my friends 19701/2 chevy camaro 300 h.p. 350 engine, speedo was bouncing between 125 and 130. The fastest feeling speed I have done is my 600 arctic cat snowmobile going close to 100MPH, I don't know if it is the fact that you are so close to the ground or the tree's whipping by you but it kind of scared me!
