Hi. Now that I got a job where I can't wear jeans anymore I have to wear dress pants, I got an issue riding to and from work. My damn pants float up to my knees, I look like a circus clown. I would like to keep my pants down, but can't.
A little physical note, I have to buy big and tall socks so, a rubber band is just gonna cut off the circulation at my ankles and I don't feel like jackin around with a rubber band after every trip.
Two options
One: invest in an over pant to wear while riding
Two:wear jeans and change at work.
I do both but prefer changing at work. I use a system called Eagle Creek pack it folder
I put my shirt, pants, socks, and belt in one and it fits nice in the saddlebag or strapped on the seat. I keep shoes at work. The pack it folder is about the size of a dress shirt when you first buy it and is only about an inch and a half thick when packed.
Try ankle gaiters. They are a made to wrap around the pants at the ankle when using waders or knee boots, keeps them from being pushed up. Very cheap also, under $10
my company changed from jeans, to dress casual, 7 or 8 years ago, after wearing jeans for more than 20 years, so I went to used clothing store & bought mechanic style work pants, along with the majority of co-workers, I refuse to buy expensive dress pants for work, when its a place that I will get dirty, & I dont own any, & never will. they dont ride up much when riding
