starting

I try to start my bike and i get a clcking, lights work etc. but it wont turn over the starter

got the same issue with my 1987 1100 sporty, have you got it figured out? Im guessing starter or alternator, how do I narrow it down, also possible grounding issue?

I just had the same problem, low battery, good lights, and only click when I tried starting.
In my case, a wire come loose from the starter relay.
