Default Thinking of changing to synthetic oil

I have been using Rev Tec oil since 2000 different weight oil for every hoe. I have a 2009 RG with 50.000 miles and have been using REV tec oil. My question is changing to Syn oil like Mobil 1 is there any concerns with engine leaks or any old myths that might be true. I would be extending the oil changes form 2500 to 3500 miles with syn oil.

I'd extend the oil changes out to at least 5K with Synthetic.

I've used Amsoil or Redline in all my bikes, Harley and metric. They all had at least 25k on them when I sold them. Never had one leak, but you have to use new seals every time you change fluids and stick to the torque specs in the service manual.

I've used synthetic oil in my bike for years. It works better in hot and cold conditions than regular oil will. You can easily extend your oil changes to 5k and more depending on the synthetic oil that you use and in doing so, will also be better on your engine and also save you money in the long run by not having to change so often.

I did some more research on syn oil here on the forms, may be red line or mobile depending on if I can get the weight oil specified for each hoe. I'm hoping J@P cycle has the weigh oil. I buy enough Rev Tech oil and filters for 3 changes from J@P. This round Ill be shopping for Syn oil. Thank you for the support.

I was in Walmart today and seen Quicksilver syn 20-50 motorcycle oil. I live in area with 2 big lakes and use Quicksilver oil for my 150 2 cycle mercury out board. That was the first time seeing Quicksilver motorcycle oil and I can get that all day long. Is that oil recommended for Harley?
