I have a 2003 Ultra Classic and I installed new bars, Khrome Werks 2+2 Sweepers. I also installed new throttle cables.
I can't get the throttle adjusted. It won't snap back. I checked the cables, not pinched and no sharp bends. The cables are Barnett brand Stealth series.
I've watched the videos. Did everything they said. Installed as per service manual. Going insane....
My guess is the the friction spring shoe in the throttle housing is out of place or pushed in causing the throttle to stick. Pull the housing apart and make sure the little black shoe under the throttle is in place and the screw is adjusted out.
make sure your handgrip is not push on the end of the handlebar to far or it will bind on the end of the bar. i went though this years ago and it took alitl=tle thinking before i figured it out. you may even have to loosen the switch housing alittle and move it to. if they are not held together tighly the brake light will remain on.
