Hey All. Looking for some info. Just drove in from Ontario and my Night Train has run terrible ever since we got over the border. I wasn't sure if we would make it to the hotel. The bike is constantly missing at any cruising speeds and is popping like crazy on decel. It started when I put a tank of gas in it over the border. Is there something different with the fuel here? I've been using 93 Oct NE because most stations here don't have 91. Any help would be appreciated. Does anybody know the closest dealership or bike shop that can help me tomorrow?
Can't help with your problem but Finger Lakes HD is 13 miles from Watkins Glenn.... (607) 594-3536

Put in 1/3 bottle of Heat, only the red stuff, in the fuel and top off tank. Clean and tighten battery cables, ride it and it should clear up.
I watched a kid that took out daddies antique Porsche go to a self serve gas station and put gas in the oil fill behind the door on the fender. I know its a different subject but the Diesel filler post reminded me.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Made it home. Probably crappy fuel. I bought fuel at NoCo and then Sheetz. Was told later that both are crap. Stopped at Geneva Harley Davidson. and their guys although busy, tried to solve the problem. I'm assuming the gas filter is dirty and fuel pump pressure was on the lower side. Unfortunately they didn't have a pump in stock. Funny but the closer I got to home, the better it ran. No I didn't put Diesel in it. LOL
