So I have a light bar for a '14 tourpak which I need to identify what functions each wire does (signal, direct power, etc). Is there an easy method of doing this where a signal can be generated causing the light to turn on? Or is it just trial and error by plugging in the harness in different locations?
The best way is to use a wiring diagram.
The above diagram is NOT for 2014. Earlier years only had brake and tail lights on the Tour Pak. No turn signals unless you pay extra. I don't know if that is true of 2014.
Yeah the signals are part of it. So there's a 6 write setup. Black for ground, people for the side lights, the for variations of blue for the running/turn lights. Need a wiring diagram, but not finding a good one.
