So I'm thinking about putting these on my UC. My question is will I need to get new wiring because they are about 2" longer/higher than the stock handlebars?

 

USUALLY 10" bars will work with stock wiring and cables, I have run into a few bikes that needed longer cables but not wiring with 10" bars, but most of them we have done worked with the stock stuff. Your bike being an '07 you are past the 8 year life of the brake lines so you may want to change it regardless of fitment...

 

The simplest thing to do is start fitting them and see for yourself. If you do need to rewire you can then measure exactly what you need, same for brakelines.

 

I have a friend with a UC and he had 10" bars and went up to 12". He told me the stock cables worked fine for the 10". I'm going to go ahead and change the bushings as well. This just seemed like a good idea.
