i bought a 2001 dwg,but no keys...i see conflicting info on what is my next move? remove fork and replace lock? and ign lock.. or contact HD with my VIN and try to get new keys? Help!!! haha..

 

I would give the dealer your vin and they should be able to get keys.This would be the cheapest way to go.

 

I agree, see what your dealer has to say. Getting a new key would be less work than your other idea and possibly cheaper too.

 

The chaps above are quite right, however there are two sets of keys for your bike out there somewhere, who knows where? As an alternative you can consider replacing your locks, for peace of mind.
