In addition to all the other great tips, I place a trouble light with a low wattage bulb in it on the floor under the covered bike. Keeps the bike a tad warmer than anything else in the garage. NO CONDENSATION!
i do something similar, only I use a small fan blowing in/under the cover. I dont wrap cover tight either, just set it on loosely. Keeps the air circulating and costs like $3 in electric.
I have always had a garage so the only cover I use is a light weight cotton one. No condensation issues. Or just use a fitted bed sheet like someone else suggested. Maybe not necessary but I also put about 5cc of oil in the cylinders and turn it over by hand a couple of times. Once the road salt is on the roads I dont ride until it is gone. So for me that is more of an issue than the temperatures.
I use SEAFOAM in all my small engine and my 2009 FLHX (injection) to stabilize the fuel during extended period of time (Winter). No problem at all.
My wife 2002 Softail does not seem to like at all...
Black smoke and stall after only a few minute.
Any reason/idea why? Carburetor issue?
Can't get E free gas here. I do use marine Stabil. I just tried a new brand of tender it's a NOCO genius. Hoping it's as good as the reviews say it is. A better and much cheaper cover then OEM is a Formosa. Bought both tender and cover on Amazon. Just changed tranny fluid and oil. I do ride during winter if it's above 45 degrees.
