Default Frame swap
I have a wrecked 2005 FLHT that I need to get a new frame for. What year frames will work?

You can check matching part numbers on-line here. The frame remained unchanged until 2008 AFAIK, although there may be subtle minor changes along the way. Your bike had frame #47900-02A.

I would stick with 02 to 06. If you look at the parts diagrams they are the same MPN. 07 might work as with the earlier frames but you will likely find some bracket that holds some part different and you have to make mods.. The 08 would not be a good choice as they moved the top motor mount from between the cylinders to the front of the frame so that they could install a 6 gallon fuel tank..
