Default battery ?

need to replace the battery what should i go with either a hd battery or interstate ?

It don’t matter. Buy the one that has a better warrantee or which ever is cheaper. Make sure it’s a direct replacement so everything fits all nice.

Go with a Yuasa GYZ series battery,, The one shown above is like a rebranded Yuasa.. They respec the CCAs to get more.. You can get em for a good price with free shipping from Summit racing.. There are places you can find em cheaper by a few bucks tho if you hunt around.

Big cranks are Deka batteries. Same as HD just a different colored case.

hd's are hard to beat but $$$$$
at present running a deka for 2/3 the cost, so far so good, my hd's lasted 5 yrs with maintainer.

just got back from a trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway.... buddy's 2014 Road King lost battery down in Nashville.... 3 hour wait for tow to Music City Harley. The were great and got us right in. Battery 4 year old, and done. Buddy questioned before we left, but local dealer said it was fine. I replaced mine at 4 years as well. So for the price, I will replace every 4 years. Either HD or Deka/Wonch batteries for me.
