Garage Door Opener
FYI: Carrying a garage door remote on the bike, fumbling for it when you should have both hands on the grips is always a PITA and dangerous. I thought about the MOCO unit but it's expensive and limited IMO so after doing some research I ran across a German company that has a great product. RinkuHaus. I've had this on my bike for over a year and it works flawlessly. It's even expandable with additional transmitters for all your vehicles. You can get a system for single doors or multiple doors. It's reasonably priced, for a single door on eBay it's $60.00. Additional transmitters are $45.00. Here's their website: http://www.rinkuhaus.com/index.html
And no, I don't own any stock in the company, I just like to pass on great products to fellow bikers.

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has tried to install the Harley momentary switch in the right side switch housing, where the push to talk switch wound be on a 2018 Roadglide.
I installed a universal remote on the speedo cluster of my 2011 Roadie. I would like to do the same on my 2018, but it would be nice to have the switch on the handle bars.

I took the easy & cheap way out. I bought and put on the storage thingys you can get to put on your fairing lowers. Several places sell them, put them on in 5 minutes. And the storage pouches have a built in mesh compartment in them for small items. Took a garage door remote we weren't using, pulled off the metal sun visor clip and put the remote in the mesh portion of the storage thingy on the right side of my bike. Now when I pull in the driveway and stop with my left hand holding in the clutch my right hand can flip open the magnetized pouch closer on the right fairing lower and immediately find the remote and push the button with no problem. No more fumbling in coat pockets, fairing cubbys or any other place.
