How do you remove forks from a Heritage Softail

I just bought an 07 Heritage Softail. I love the bike, but it needs new fork seals. Having never had a Harley before, I bought the Harley shop manual for it. The shop manual is vague in listing and describing the steps necessary to remove whatever parts are needed to get to the the forks. Once I get to the forks, I'm good to go, being that I've rebuilt numerous Showa forks. Does anyone know of a list of the steps as to how to remove the forks or a video showing it. Thanks.

Are you sure you have the Harley Factory Service Manual? They are usually quite thorough.

Remove the fender , wheel , axle , remove axle pinch bolt , caliper , break torque on the damper bolts and fork caps , you may have to remove the headlight shroud to access the fork tube pinch bolts on the tree , then slide the forks out .

Only thing missing is how to remove the Heritage front fender but that's only 4 bolts. You should be able to loosen the pinch bolts enough without removing the lights and nacell cover.
