Default Lift Table - Wheel Chock or Clamp?

Have a lift table coming and am curious to hear from those that also have one, do you use a wheel chock, like the Condor, or a wheel clamp?

I already have the Condor for the trailer and will give it a try but the clamps look useful as well.

I bought the Ideal 2200 UTV so that I can service more than just my motorcycle.

I like the clamp...reason being different wheels and tires fit the condors differently. I have a pit bull front tire conversion on my Road glide and a 120/21 on my fatboy..Like to put both on the table when working or detailing them and the clamp just works out best I think...

I have both. I use the chock for most maintenance. When I am going to raise the front wheel for any reason, I remove the chock and bolt on the Derek Weaver clamp.

Go for the clamp. I have an cheap chinese lift with a clamp and a Kendon lift with wheel chock. The chinese lift is way much easier to use.

On the kendon lift you need to tie the front end down with straps. On the Chinese lift, I can use my foot to get the clamp reasonably tight then toss one of those flat scissor jack under the rear to make the bike stable.

Clamp and tie downs anytime a bike goes on a table lift. People get lazy with a chock and skip the tie downs, **** does happen.

I've had both, clamp for me (and tie downs). Plus, it's easier to get a heavy bike backed off the lift table with a clamp. With a chock you have to rock it out.

I had the Condor wheel chock on my previous lift but I now have the clamp style on my Handy lift. The chock can be a real pain in the a$$ to get the road glide out of compared to the clamp.

Yeah, I would not do a wheel chock without tie-downs. They don't grab the wheel tight enough. At least the Hendon I have don't.
