I'm needing someone to point me in the right direction here. I recently had an air filter backer plate bolt back out and got sucked all the way to the cylinder. The piston was broke in the process. I have it completely torn down, parts have all been completely cleaned and gone through the parts washer. I'm fixing to start re-assembly with new heads, pistons, rings, basically complete top end and oil pump while I'm there. My question is there's a little piece at the bottom of each cylinder right beneath the piston that comes to a point. There's two small bolts that hold it into the case on the lifter side. It looks to me to be something that catches oil to send it to the lifters, but I'm needing someone to let me know. When the piston shattered, it broke this piece as well and I'm needing to order one before assembly. Thanks in advance.

Yes that's it. I found it online right about the same time you did. Thanks so much for the help.
