Top fits or the bottom fits. Sounds like the trouble I had. Just need to spread the trim ring and get it over the hump on the bucket.

That's not possible with the trim ring used on 2017's. Going to try again tomorrow, I'll add some pics to clarify. Also going to call the dealer and challenge them to make it fit, they sold it to me and said it would. After tomorrow morning they will have to prove it.

Ok looked up your headlight on ronnies microfiche. Your trim ring looks like the bottom one, mine looks like the top one. Maybe that helps with the way i was describing how to make it work. I had the visors on a 2011 eglide with the solid trim ring held on by the one screw. Sorry but i can't remember the details.
