serached the forum but didnt find my answer so here it goes. I was wondering if it is possible to add RDRS to a 2020 Road glide special that did not come with it from the factory. I got different answers from different dealers on this. one says you can (although they have not done one), the other says you cannot and must order it form the factory.
RDRS can't be added if bike didn't come with it from factory.
some people would say that you could do it but it would cost a fortune and in that case it would be more cost effective to trade in your bike for another one with RDRS

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking!
An optional feature added in 2020 to touring bikes. As stated above, can’t add.
$995 option on a new bike in 2020. If you want it I’d trade for a bike that has it.
The challenge to finding a bike new, or used with RDRS is that dealers for some reason typically don’t list the specific options of a bike, other than paint, (the others being radio upgrade and RDRS). They list the boiler plate Harley menu of possible options. So you gotta look for pics of the bike for sale. If it has this, it has RDRS, otherwise that space on that switch is just blank.
