Security system is present but no chirp

So that is what it looks like behind my rear splash guard obviously the lugs sticking out are the to hold something in place (alarm) but where is the plug from my bike to supposably plug n play..?

Again your attention is invited to POST #6 and the attached instructions provided. Open the attachment and read the instructions, you will need to scroll through until you find your model of motorcycle. It tells you the location of where the siren goes and shows the location of the siren plug.

That plug that's stuck into the plastic bracket is it. Sitting just above the TSSM ( that black piece with one small and one larger grey connector)

Just goes to show the illustrations in HD's installation instructions can't be trusted.
