yep, mine is a generic Nelson Rigg cover but I do use the personal alarm because it’s cheap layer of protection.

I turn the ignition off, lock the forks, and walk away.

I`m too old to worry about vehicles.

The Harley audible alarm, Screamer I call it, is the way to go. Acts just like a car alarm. It double clicks as you walk away letting bystanders know it has an alarm. It installs behind the battery on a softail, not sure on a dresser and has it's own internal battery making it very hard to defeat. I'm surprised most don't know about it. It is cheap and works with your factory FOB. Another employee tried to sit on my bike at work, alarm went off, scared him half to death. He fell off and dislocated his shoulder, that's when I found out. He won't do that again. Part number, 68328-06A. $100, just don't go to move your bike in the garage without the FOB. Your ears will hurt.

You all must live in the most crime riddled, untrustworthy areas imaginable!
unless I’m overnighting I rarely even lock out the ignition. Life’s too short to get my panties in a wad over this. You want it that bad, take it! $200 deductible and I’m into something newer…..but still gonna be black!

I’m not worried at home, it’s in my garage but when I travel far enough to say I travel, I’m staying god knows where.
