75 MPH and it just shut off

Unhappy 75 MPH and it just shut off
Hello, wondering if someone might help. Riding going north on the highway smooth sailing at 75 MPH. First of all, I have a 06 ultra classic. I have full Rinehart full exhaust. Power commander 5, K&N ram cold air, Pulstar plasma spark plugs, and all synthetic fluids (Changed every year). The bike just stopped running on the highway. Pulled in clutch coasted off the highway. Hit the starter button. Did not want to start. Switched off and on - handlebars - and hit the start button. Fired right up. Got it going again. 30 sec later it quit again. Off and on and start button. Fired right back up. Had to do that for four miles to limp it back home. Now, I am not trusting it to go anyplace. .


Please help.

Check for codes. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere.

Check battery grounds, main breaker, ignition switch needs cleaning, chaffed wire under tank. Start it up and shake wiring, switches, grounds etc... until you find the problem.

How many miles?
Could be fuel filter problem.
Not sure what code you will get with a restricted fuel filter.

Just a thought.

I had a couple friends with that vintage HD, and that problem. Turned out to be a broken wire in a small wire harness somewhere around the throttle body. Good luck.
