Default Mid-contorol peg replacement issues

I bought some JP aftermarket foot pegs for my mid-controls and when I got them, I noticed that the stock pegs (male part) are bent at a weird angle (maybe 45*) so my new pegs are not flat or parallel to the ground when I put the male part in. I looked for some sort of conversion or adapter to fix this, but I only come up with kits for forward controls. Is there a way to get around this issue? I have an 883 iron, 2020. Thanks!

Which pegs? Aren't the pegs attached to a male mount adapter? The pegs should rotate on the mount adapter, and be tightened in position.
