don't buy the one from Harbor Freight, piece of crap but it does work with a lot of problem.
I own 4 pair of Blue Points.. They do most the work but I found that the small ones were too big for the lever pivot snap rings and the larger BP were too small for the tranny main drive gear bearing. I ended up running down to HF and buying their cheal set.. Out of the box they are crap but not too hard to fix. Pin edges were rounded and uneven. Just clamp the pliers in a vice facing up and with a small ball peen, tap on the ends until they mushroom a little and are the same length. They work pretty good after that. 1 or 2 of the bluepoints have had the same treatment as they are 50 years old.
Snap ring pliers... nope wouldn't know a thing about those. Got a couple 15" long big ones in another drawers from my heavy equipment days, dealt with some snap rings 12" in dia.
OP, old mechanics rule, no matter how many you have you'll never have the exact one you need
