I'm trying to figure out how these decorative seat tabs are suppose to install.

Is it like this?

The decorative piece should slide on top of the seat mount and then the screw goes through the decorative piece and then the seat mount bracket.

The cover attaches to the top of the seat tab with double sided tape. When the included seat bolt is tightened down, the bolt fits into a circular recess on the top side of the cover.

There is a neoprene washer under the screw head. As the screw is tightened, the softish washer compresses slightly. In my opinion, it's not backing out on it's own.

Cool....... I saw the neoprene washer but wasn't sure how secure it felt when snugged down. Sounds like I may NEED one of these, lol! Thanks @barneyboy !

That looks like the seat tab on top of the decorative plate but what is that sticking up in the hole?
