Not a chaps person, but looking at leg protection. Found these, not interested in all the conchos or fringe.
Still think these look like pirate gear. If they provided lower leg protection they might be ok.
Anyone wear these?
A good friend of mine who has since gone to biker heaven used them. He was a hard core distance rider with well over 300k miles on his bikes (not all Harleys). He liked them in misty or light rain environments. Kept the splatter off his legs from foot to ankle. He used them a lot!
When I had my 2003 FLHTCUI100 I never burned my pants leg on the exhaust. When I started riding my 2012 FLHTK a couple of years ago I melted several dress pants on them. The bike leans over on the jiffy stand more, so I bought some half chaps. I only have a 20 minute ride to work so I didnt want to mess with my full chaps. IDR where I bought them, but they were a lot stiffer than I thought they would be, so I rarely use them.
Im pretty sure I ordered the half chaps from Chilhowee. So you might want to ask if theres a softer version, if you decide to get them.

There used to be a product sold that looked like that called "leather legs", they look like they would be handy at times. I guess it depends if you have lowers on your ride.
Bought these couple years ago. Use when cold or expecting rain on my commuter bike. Very good quality. Not really necessary on touring bike with hard lowers. YMMV

Tried it in several browsers, works for me. I usually have to right click and open link in incognito window.
