Default Tallboy Cycles Floorboard Relocation Brackets with Lower Fairings?

Has anyone installed Tallboy Cycles Floorboard Relocation Kits with lower fairings, and did not actually have to modify the lower fairing for the bracket plus floorboards to fit? Did not have to cut or notch the lower fairing to accommodate the floorboards new position?

Being a “tall boy", with a bike that has fairing lowers I checked their website. On the main page ...

"Our Footboard Relocation Kits are designed for stock Harley Davidson Touring Family of Motorcycles. The kit allows for adequate ground clearance. Two kits work on models with lower fairings that have Traditional or Streamliner Boards and bikes without lower fairings. Our new extended kit only works on models without lower fairings. Those motorcycles that have lower fairings, require modification to the lower fairing using the provided template and instructions. See more information regarding lowering fairings on our Lower Fairings page. Please call for further information on fitment."

Thanks, I saw that and was looking for anyone out there that has installed them successfully without modifying their lowers, and if so what model bike and which floorboards they are running?

I wanted to update this thread with my experience on the Tall Boy relocation brackets. I ordered the 3/4” spacers and the Tall Boy brackets for my 2018 Ultra Classic with lowers. After mounting everything loosely and moving the floorboards back as far as they would go, and then securing all the fasteners, they do clear the lowers just fine. But, when pivoting the floorboards up as would happen if you happen to drag them, they did catch the lowers on both sides and bend on them pretty good, I was afraid that they could eventually crack under the stress. They may have been fine, but I just didn’t like that they caught the lowers when they pivoted up. I notched both lowers just enough to clear when pivoted up, with a jigsaw. Took off probably a 3/16” X 1” portion to clear the floorboards on both sides, didn’t take much. I’m 6’ 3” with a 38” inseam and my custom seat is extended 3 1/2” back,, but that just wasn’t quite enough. I think these just might do the trick! I may do the extended brake in the future, but right now everything seems pretty good. WB

Do you have a picture of the boards without the extended brake. How does it look on the shifter side? I think I would need to get both extended
