I always had tank bags for my bikes with a clear plastic on top and this is where I mounted my EZ Pass. So I have an Heritage Softail Classic and I do not use the windshield. A tank bag doesn't fit the area I would need it to face and it's pointed in the wrong direction. Where do I mount my EZ pass? There are handlebar bags/ pouches but will a signal register through a leather pouch? Ideas? Pictures?
yes the signal will get through.....
heard some with fairings have them INSIDE the fairing and they work well.
I keep mine in a fairing pouch on my Ultra.....no issues!!
And heres the skinny.......when I dont have my transponder with me, the usual thing is for the license plate cameras to get it and then send you the bill.......the thing is the stock location for my plate on my Ultra doesn't allow those cameras to get a good shot.........so I get through free........

I have run into several locations that don't have license plate readers or have gates that won't open unless the system receives the module signal. In those cases, registering the vehicle on your account won't work. This is one reason that I avoid toll roads.
