Tools for the road
Just bought a FLHTP without the HD tool kit. Im not a big fan of those anyway. Looking for suggestions on the best way to put one together or which pre-packaged kit has the most bang for the buck. Dont need a SnapOn kit, but dont want to buy Amazon crap either. Was thinking multi-tools as part of the package. I could raid the spare tool box, but everything will be full-sized and heavy. Opinions on the best route to go? Thanks.

The HD kit is not bad, not a fan of the wrenches though. The multi tool with screw driver/torx driver is actually very good. I keep the stock kit in my '05 Road Glide 95% of the time, when taking a long trip I will supplement with some shop tools. Crux tool kit in my Shovel, I was out of "extra" wrenches. So far she has helped me out a couple of times, decent kit and quality.

I put together my own kit , prob weighs a good 10 lbs , Lol , I like to ready for anything . I also include a tire repair kit and compressor .

This is what you will need: Ice chest or bag for Beer, Flask for your whiskey, A nice handgun for when them MFers try to steel your bike, And for them lonely nights on the road a blow up doll I would get one of them with 3 holes.
