Got too much time on my hands so I decided to repaint the Deuce. I did a search but came up with no results. How do you remove the fuel gauge from an '02 Deuce?
On the left side, near the front of the underside of the tank, is a connector. You'll need to disconnect it, and remove the pins from the connector. After that, you just pull the gauge straight out. Don't twist it. Label the wires as you remove them, so you know which pins go where.

Got the pins removed. The black pin needs to be replaced.
