I'm in the process of charging over all the engine and transmission hardware with stainless steel fasteners from ARP. For miscellaneous nuts and bolts like engine mounting and oil cooler I will try my local hardware store first then a web search if needed.

I prefer the gripping power of a torque to allen, which start out half way to round.

Leupold instructions say no locktite need with force you are able to apply with torques.
