Thanks guys, it was just a detail spray sealant. The paint has been dry about a week, I asked my painter he said its probably fine, but told me i could wipe with alcohol. So, I wiped down with alcohol and it seems to be fine.

As was stated, ask the shop that painted it. Some places will cure the paint. Every time I've had the local place do body work they say it's fine to coat when I pick it up
I recently had the rear quarter panel repaired on my 2011 Focus. The shop told me I could wash the car, but to NOT use any waxes, sealants, etc... for at least 30 days.
Worked in car dealerships in my younger years, never met a body person who was afraid of a little wax on fresh paint. At least not after some UV light curing.
Trying to remove the wax with solvents or friction, that would be the greater risk at this point.
