Does anyone have any experience with bike shelters? The reviews are very spotty and I would like to hear from someone that has bought one before I drop a couple hundred. Thanks, link below to Amazon for reference.

The reviews I read are pretty positive. One reviewer (Luke S) gives a very detailed review of the product, pointing out small flaws in the instructions. Personally, I would purchase it if I needed to store my bike outside. Of course, its made in China, so theres that to consider.

Funny thing is I don't think I read the reviews on that particular one. 🤦 I just jumped over to Amazon to grab a link. 😁.
I'll read them in a little while, but still would like to hear from anyone that's used them on here, if there is anyone. Lol
I bought my bike shelter from PepBoys several years ago. I also purchased a 12x20 (maybe 10x20?) tarp garage. I did buy better ground anchors for assembly. Both shelters lasted years, and eventually I sold them both for further usage.
I've been using fabric sheds for decades now, because I basically had to.
Because you're on the dirt, everything tends to get filthy inside them. The grass dies and you're on bare earth. Somehow, the dirt gradually migrates up onto everything in there.
Moisture comes up from the ground and condenses nicely on things. A plastic floor seems like it should help, but rarely does, plus is creates puddles. They're also slippery, especially when you're shoes are wet.
Mice regard these shelters as paradise. I use mothballs, because I can't find peppermint strong enough to work. I'm weird and actually like the smell of mothballs, not so much anyone else.
Before I bought my house with a garage, I used one of these sheds for a year or so. I anchored it to a concrete parking pad. Moisture was an issue. Eventually a windstorm destroyed it. I didn't bother replacing it.

I used one similar to that, but it had a built-in floor. When you closed it, there was a velcro seam that sealed the opening. It had large covered vents on two sides which helped with venting inside the cover.
It worked well here in SoCal protecting the bike from the sun/UV and the small amount of rain we get. It mostly spared it from constantly being covered with early morning dew from fog or the marine layer.
I used it for about four years, when I needed to park my bike outside. It did a good job keeping the bike clean & dry. The integral floor with velcro seal for the opening kept it free from rodents in my case.
I still have the bike, and you wouldn't be able to tell it was parked outside 24/7 for that amount of time....
