Does anyone know if Howard at motorcycle metal is still in business? I have purchased stuff from him over the years and had a few questions for him but he doesn’t respond to my emails

 

Just out of curiosity, if you aren't having any success with emailing them, have you tried calling them?

Yes he is. It's the holidays here in the US, maybe he's on vacation? I just had Ohlins carts installed in my LRS forks by him about 3 weeks ago.

 

He's probably taking some time off. You can also contact him via private message through HDF.

It is 3:42 am now. I am having difficulties on my e-Mail and none is being received since yesterday am. I have no idea why. Will get in touch with my web guy today when he wakes up. I just tried and for some unknown reason no e-Mails are being received. After a few hours the sender gets a mailer deamon:

Currently a web site maker & myself are working off line creating a mobile phone friendly as well as a traditional web site... I have thought long and hard what I wish to do. Some of the additional changes are:

Listing all products online and have them available to buy but just as all other web sites cost more money and you get no person on person support which sucks. But you will always have the option of calling and getting you the least expensive price and you will always have the option of the cheapest payment options. When you pay by credit card or Pay-Pal, those options cost money and someone has to pay for them and no matter who the vendor is, it is ultimately the customer. There can only be one lowest price. I did ask my UPS guy at 8pm Friday when UPS was offering free shipping & he did not think that was funny. There is no such thing as FREE SHIPPING! I do not add this charge to the price, it is separate & you pay for what you receive.

I am putting on a live screen so you can see what I am showing you. This means you will have the option of seeing your shocks being built in front of you. If you do not have a video camera on our phone or on your computer, no problem, you will receive a link and you can watch online and talk through your telephone. I also will have the option of showing you exactly what I am talking about, for example, a question on the internals of a shock. The camera I am using is the exact same camera some of the scenes of the movie Transformer was shot in. You will see your shocks or front suspension individually tested and Dyno'd. I do not drop ship anything unless you know previously before the sale.. No one does this except for Tim Godshal when he worked for Penske or JRI. Once Tim left the companies, they no longer Dyno'd tested your shocks. Yes, I have owned a shock Dyno for several years & if you make arrangements, you too can see your equipment tested & be able to print out your Dyno sheet.you just saw. If you go on Ohlins dealer locator you will find many people selling their products, but in the whole state of Florida, there are only 3 companies that are certified factory trained & authorized service centers. And out of the three, only one specializes in the Harley line. The buck stops here.

WE are coming out with several new products such as using 320mm rotors on FLT models using your stock Brembo calipers. Racing caliper pistons for your FLT Brembo's that run cooler, have an internal reservoir, and just plain stop better. This product is already available and will be sold with the rebuilding parts as well.
